Predators, a film produced by Robert Rodriguez, is slated to hit theaters this July 7, 2010. Rodriguez may be trying to channel his inner “Cameron” with this one. You can’t help but notice the nod to Cameron’s Aliens, which followed Ridley Scott’s Alien.
The new film unleashes the familiar alien super-killers against a cast that includes Adrien Brody, That 70’s Show’s Topher Grace, and Lawrence Fishburne.
Several on-set pictures were leaked a few days ago and are still floating around on the web. Take a look before 20th Century Fox asks us to take them down!
For such a popular franchise among science-fiction fans, there seems to be very little buzz out there about the film. Various sources have been giving hints about the script which seems to set events after the first film. Does this mean that the film does not acknowledge the other films in the franchise – Predator 2, AVP: Aliens vs. Predator, and AVPR: Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem? Maybe so, since many of these films received lackluster reviews from fans and critics.
Will this be the film to re-energize and reboot the franchise? We’ll let you know this summer.

Ohh Avatar vs predator… good idea!
Yeah definately Russian gear on one guy, regular military I would presume, since a merc probably wouldnt bother with “dress code”. That’s assuming the producers care about continuity…LOL
